Collegiate athletics offers student-athletes opportunities to develop leadership skills, teamwork, discipline, and time management while pursuing academic goals. A successful program contributes to the university community by fostering school spirit, boosting enrollment, and providing entertainment for students, faculty, and the surrounding community.
